Delta l / L = 1000* g / 28*28* E

Delta l = 12.51* L/ E

Final length will be = delta l + L

(12.51/E + 1) *L

Sorry Upper one is for tensionThere is compression given so delta l will be negativeSo final length will be(1- 12.51/E)*L
