Hope you are doing well. If I was in your place, then I would choose mechanical engineering in top 5 colleges instead of taking CSE or IT or ECE in low level colleges. Because getting into low level college is equivalent to staying at home. The placements in such colleges will not be good. So my sincere suggestion to you is to go for a top colleges if you get even mechanical engineering as it also has lot of scope and high salary packages. But at the end, the choice is yours.
