For JEE Mains:

To clear out the concepts:
DC PANDEY series of books (there are 5 books of DC PANDEY which covers all the topics of physics, for me it made me a physics lover!)

To solve questions:
HC VERMA would be sufficient! Just solve its problems.

In order to prepare for physics you should read NCERT books first to work on your concepts and to build your fundamentals strong. 

Apart, from NCERT you can refer to HC Verma for physics. 

Solve previous year questions to understand the level of the exam. 

Solve as many as MCQs for your practice. 

 

To score good marks you should focus on the chapters which holds more weightage in the exam.
