The current fee for four meals (breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and dinner) in the form of a fixed menu is around Rs. 2000 per month in most mess facilities, but this may range from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 300 per month in student-run facilities. Admission fees for general wards are Rs 50 per day and for private wards are Rs 1000 per day. When a patient is admitted, an advance payment for 10 days is required. For the management of emergency cases, the Emergency Medicine (Casualty) department is open 24/7.

Every mess has a unique way of providing scheduled services and charging for them. Each cafeteria and mess has a rate-list, which students can use to verify the prices.
