hi rangan, i have been where you are now. yes there are many books out there and they are all good in their own way, but the preference varies from person to person , for neet biology make sure that you thorough the ncert first as when i attended around 310 marks were out of ncert text book, and i would suggest you to use your entrance coaching material along with ncert first. understand the concepts well, use any good book you like just to solve more and more questions, analyse , rectify and learn from your mistakes, good luck

Firstly don't caught up in too many sources jut limited books and good reference will be fine to score well .

  • Chemistry. NCERT + your notes or Modules + arihant for MCQ
    • Physics.  HC verma for concepts + DC pandey or Universal or Arihant  ( any one will work ).

First of all, complete your NCERTs as these are the best books to score good in NEET as it covers 70-75% syllabus and if you talk about the reference books then better to choose the one which make all your concepts strong and which are easy to understand. Also, as per student's reviews below reference books are good -

Biology -

Moderns ABC of Biology for XI & XII – B. B. Arora, A. K. Sabharwal- Modern Publishers

Exploring Biology (Vol 1 & 2) – Sanjay Sharma & Sudhakar Banerjee – Arihant Publications

Objective Biology (Vol 1, 2 & 3) – K. N. Bhatia / K. Bhatia – Dinesh Publications

Physics -

The Concept of Physics by HC Verma

Objective Physics by Prof. Satya Prakash Arya (MTG Publishers)

Chemistry -

Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon (G. R. Bathla Publications)

Objective Chemistry (Set of 3 Vols) (S. Dinesh & Co.)

Good Luck!!!

Hi Agnimesh! See the most important stuff in preparation is to make correct choice of comprehensive and concise book and then work on it smartly. Almost all books has same contents. So personally I feel it is wise to consider NCERT as base and per subject you can add book like HC verma gor physics, GR bathla for solving chemistry questions and for biology Allen material is good. Simultaneously keep going through MTG magazines.
All the best !
