The eligibility criteria for jee mains require 75% in pcm aggregate or overall 75% in class 12th cbse board?

According to the eligibility criteria for JEE Mains, for admission in NITs/IIITs/GFTIs - the candidates need to have secured a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 exam conducted by their respective board. This is for general category candidates. Whereas for the SC/ST category candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in class 12.
