The admission authority will prepare separate Telangana MBBS rank list 2019 for seats under state quota, management quota and NRI quota. The rank list will be applicable for filling up 85% state quota seats while remaining 15% seats under All India Quota seats to be filled by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Admission to the 85% state quota seats will be reserved for the local candidates in relation to the each local area. Candidates have to furnish a certificate in the prescribed proforma to claim the reservation. Amongst the required documents is :

• Proof of Local Status
• Residence Certificate of the Candidate or Either Parents (If studied in the institutions outside of Andhra Pradesh)
• Study Certificate(s) from 6th class to Intermediate.
• To get a seat via 85% state quota:
• The Candidate must be a local candidate of Telangana. Aspirants must fulfill the following conditions :
1. Students who have studied/resided in a local area for a period of not less than four years and the last year should be of passing Class 12 examination.
2. If the candidate has studied in the two or more local areas for seven consecutive years and the last year of qualifying Class 12, then the area in which the candidate had stayed the most number of years will be considered.
3. If an applicant had stayed equal number of years out of the seven consecutive years, then the last stayed area will be considered.
