I am mentioning down the number of seats available in Maharashtra :

For MBBS :
Government colleges :    3060 seats.
Private colleges :               2070 seats.

For BDS:
Government colleges :      2300 seats.

Seats for the nominee of government : A specified number of seats i.e. at the Government Medical Colleges (15 seats), Dental Colleges (3 seats) and Ayurved Colleges (5 seats) in the MBBS seat distribution in maharashtra have been kept at the disposal of the Government of India. Seats for nominees of Government of India will be filled up by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
