Dear student,

Central Seat Allocation Board will organise the counselling for admission in the supernumerary seats in NITs for Union Territories, and in some AICTE approved institutions for North Eastern states and Union Territories (NEUT) on the basis of JEE Main rank.

Csab 2020 will be held after josaa 2020 counseling in different modes of admission channel:-

• CSAB NUET (for North Eastern States and Union Territories)
• CSAB SFTI (Self-Financed Technical Institutes)
• CSAB UT (Supernumerary Seats for Union Territory )

Now for participating in csab neut - you must belong from any one of the 8 north Eastern states and 4 union territories :-

Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Lakshadweep .

If you belong from any one of these states, then only you are allowed to participate in csab neut 2020.

So, as you belong from chandigarh , then you can't take part in csab neut because you doesn't qualify the eligibility criteria for csab neut 2020.

But you can take part in csab sfti as well as in csab special round counseling for nits, iiits, gftis and iiest, as their is no state eligibility criteria.
