Hey there Aspirant !
This has been one of the questions which is roaming in the minds of perhaps every NEET Examinee.
And it's quite obvious to do so, since the examination itself is of such huge value.
After the analysis of the paper, experts all over the nation have predicted that the cutoff this year is going to have a hike as compared to that of 2018.
There are basically 3 factors which point us towards this rough guess :

1. This year's NEET paper was comparitively easier than the paper of 2018 which is evident from the fact that quite a handful of student are scoring 690+ and there are lots and lots having 650+ score which hasn't been the scenario in the past few years.

2. Secondly, the number of Examinees this year skyrocketed to an astonishing number of 15.6 lakhs compared to last year's 13.26 lakhs. This has been really a huge jump.

3. The number of govt. Medical seats haven't increased much over the past one year.

Thus, with almost constant number of seats, 2.3 lakh more students are competing out of which 600+ is almost a Common.

These 3 statements lead us to predict that the cutoff this year has high chances of raising the bar.

Hope this helps.

All the Best !

Hi Baba, as per questions been set, the cut-off is likely to go higher for the NEET exam this year. The expected general cut off for NEET qualified would vary between 125-135 marks. But for admissions in decent colleges, the cut off may vary 510-520 marks. Hope this information helps you. Have a great day.
