This year no. of students appeared for WBJEE are the lowest (around 64k). So will it affect the closing rank/cut offs for colleges?

Dear Koustav,

Number of candidates attempting the examination is termed as one of the factors affecting the cut-off in Wbjee. But there are many more factors which determine the cut-off which includes difficulty of question paper, availability of seats and previous year statistics. You may not worry because colleges will definitely set their closing ranks considering various aspects in contrast.
