AIIMS has release two types of merit list.One is a combined merit list which includes the ranks and percentile of all the candidate who have the exam and the other one is a selected one which is based on the cut off.

If you do not come under the second merit list,you cannot participate into AIIMS counselling as the students included or called will be around thrice the number of seats. So if you are not in the merit list,you would not be allowed to participate in counselling.
