Hi anup,if u really feel that u should take a drop then you can take but I suggest  u that 1st u should give 2018 neet becoz when u thought that ur study is exalt cent for board exams then it also best for neet .
So I suggest u that 1st of u should give neet 2018 .
And u also said that neet gai only 3 attempts but that is change general and obc category can give 9 times neet exam under age criteria  and st nd sc can give 14 times under age criteria
U also ask about drop out advantages and disadvantages bt I think there is only one thing that if we give our 1 most precise year for medical coching then It should gives  output which is depend on our hardwork study .so u do hard work nd do not thik about disadvantag
And yes if u take a drop then ur goes to very much strong if u r doing hard work.
And u can also check about  neet attempts in sarygyan.com
