Under State Quota for MBBS Addmission, can NRIs students opt for general merit seats or are they have to only pay NRI fees?

Hi Divyashri,

Here is the answer 

NRI admission counseling to medical colleges is done by different agencies. The admission to NRI seats in central as well as deemed universities is done by the centralized counseling authority, the Medical Counseling Committee. Counseling for admission to the various private and self-financed colleges is completely done by the state counseling committees. In both situations, NRIs have to pay NRI fees only.
