Here are some of the rules of VIT Vellore:

1. Hostel timings : boys - 8:30 pm and girls- 7:30 pm

2. Hostel room change every year

3. CGPA is the criteria for room allocation

4. You might get an exam on Saturday or Sunday

5. Id card is must - if lost can cost you a good amount of money as fine.

6. Security is tight and strict.

7. You require a pass for everything you want to do in the campus.
