I think you can get in category 1 itself. but you have got in category 2.As a private college fee is almost high. If you have a good jee main score try for Nit. If you are willing for VITEEE Vellore then better go for it as placements, academics too matter a lot.

You scored good rank but you got Computer Science Engineering in Category 2. For Category 2 you need to pay additional amount every year for 4 years, apart from regular Tution Fees as per the rules of VIT fee structure it may be around Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,00,000. If you are okay for it and can afford it then yoy can go ahead. If not wait and decide what to do further. As Computer Science Engineering branch is good branch and has great scope too.
