For joing SRM University you can get a seat easily by JEE MAINS rank but if you have a bad rank in JEE then you can give SRMJEE exam it is very easy exam I myself got around 8000 rank
But I will suggest you to join the main campus if srm which is in Chennai.
The main campus students get good placement then any other.
You can easily get CSE branch within 15000 rank in srmjee but you need a rank under 30,000 in Jee mains to get in srm
You can also get the scholarship available.
SRM also offers for direct admission for state toppers and you may get admission there by paying extra fees.
You can also try fir other options by taking admission in VIT as VIT is much better than SRM.
