It's good to hear that you want to do MS from Germany

The eligibility for the required course is as follows:

• You have to complete your graduation course of min 4 years from India, as this the most important factor.
• You should qualify the exams like : IELTS or TOEFL or GMAT or GRE.
• If you have the minimum qualification such as 3 yrs course you can go for economics but for that you should contact with the university you want to opt for.

Gate is not mandatory,The mandatory requirement is your German language proficiency You need to qualify in GRE exam to do MS in Germany if you are pursuing degree in German or (ILETES,TOEFL,GRE) if you are pursuing in English.

However there few University who accept GATE scores ,if you want that then you need to shortlist colleges accordingly .But mainly for admission purposes they will ask for your bachelor's degree cgpi only and GRE score.
