In the previous year, the cut off for SC candidates was 429 marks  under all India quota. Colleges which accepted this score were Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences, Pawapuri, Nalanda and Sri Krishna Medical College, Muzaffarpur.

Under state quota , the cut off marks for SC category was 370 in college - Government Medical College, Bettiah . These were the lowest marks admitted in 2018 in Bihar, govt Medical colleges. This year there may be an increase of 15-20 marks in the cut off.
