Dear Arush, there is no limit on the permitted number of attempts for NEET.  As per the latest NEET 2019 eligibility criteria, the upper age limit candidates i.e. the candidates with age 25 or more are eligible to apply and take NEET 2019. The upper age limit criteria has been removed by the Supreme Court, for the time being, which allows candidates to appear for the exam. The final decision of the Supreme Court is still pending and the next hearing is scheduled for the month of January.  Until this case is settled, there is no upper age limit allowing no cap on the no. of limits for appearing for NEET.

Hello,

I would like to tell you that there isn't a fixed maximum number of attempts for NEET.

There is an upper age cap that is 25 years for the general category and 30n years for the other reserved categories.

You can attempt NEET a number of times until you are under the age bar.

I would also suggest you to visit the career360's link given below which has an detailed explanation on the age limit and the number of attempts for NEET.

The link for the same is:https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-number-of-attempts-and-age-limit

Hope this helps and all the very best!
