For every college you have placements, and those depends on your level of understanding. You have to understand your stream of interest. Company looks for how well do you know. It's all about self learning.

Note that University of Hyderabad is among the premier academic institutions in the country. So, I feel that placements would be guaranteed unless you are a very poor student, which you wouldn't be, since you are studying in a reputed college.
