The cut off is the last rank/closing rank of a candidate who got admission in a particular IIT in a particular branch in the last. The cut off rank is dependent on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination, total number of candidates participating in the counselling etc. The cut off rank for IITs for the year 2022 will be released at the end of the JoSAA counselling.
