Dear Aspirant,

The best possible branches to get government jobs in IITs, NITs are the core branches like ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, CHEMICAL ENGINEERING, CIVIL ENGINEERING, etc. You can also go for AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING, PETROLIEM ENGINEERING, BIOTECHNOLOGY, ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING, etc.  For being a professor in IITs, NITs you should have a DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY degree. After that, you should go for Postdoctoral Research. You have to clear National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC and CSIR. You should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the relative field. You can also go for teaching in top Private universities for teaching Experience.
