Distance Education generally means you can pursue a particular course/degree by sitting at your home. You need to attend the Personal Contact Program(PCP) Classes which are sometimes compulsory/optional. PCP Classes are conducted in each semester. So, distance education in yoga also means the same. You will be awarded degree but you will do all the assignments, project at your home. You will be provided with study material, video lectures etc.

Some of the universities offering distance education in yoga includes Jiwaji University, Karpagam University. M.P. Bhoj Open University, Periyar University etc.
