pharma D is a pre phd postgraduate program, it is a six year long program that deals in pharmaceuticals sciences. 5 years are for academic studies and 1 year of internship.

for admission to a pharma  D course, there are entrance tests and at some places admissions are merit based.

some entrance tests that are conducted are:-

GPAT by nta , it is valid across all nta-approved institutions,colleges, departments etc. it is a national level test.

UPSEE is conducted for admissions to Dr. APJ abdul kalam university.

NIMS university,jaipur,rajasthan conducts NIMSEE.

VELS university,chennai conducts VEE(VELS entrance examination)

bharati vidhyapeeth university pune conducts BVP CET.
