Hello dear!

Since genetic  engineering is a highly research oriented field, a PhD holder is imperative if you want to climb up the the ladder at work. PhD graduate usually go on to do their postdoctoral training and join University as professor or entry industry as research scientist.

Students with MSc degree in genetic engineering or biotechnology with specialisation in genetic engineering with specialisation can find jobs in biotech and pharma company or join Universities as research assistants.
