Hello

NCERT is must to do for all subjects.

Apart from it there are reference books as I have listed down.

These are some objective books other than NCERT that you should refer to prepare for NEET:

Biology:

Objective Biology by Dinesh, AIIMS Explorer by MTG publication, Trueman’s Objective Biology

Physics:

Physics for Medical Entrance Examinations by D.C Pandey (Arihant Publications)

Chemistry:

Objective Chemistry (Volume 1 and 2) by Arihant publications

Here are Some GOLDEN tips for the preparation of NEET

  • Firstly, gather all the details about the officially prescribed syllabus for the examination.
  • Make a proper time-table for your preparations.
  • Follow the time table strictly and increase your potential day by day.
  • Consider the good preparation books and study materials.
  • Practice mock test & previous year question papers.
  • Make mistakes while practising, and correct them and never repeat them.
  • Never give up even at your low time.
  • Stay stress free & healthy while preparing for exams.
  • Don’t try to include new topics at the end of preparations.

All the Best.

I'm listening below a few books that you can consider following. However, NCERT should be first on your list  because maximum number of questions in biology will be from NCERT textbooks. Also, questions from inorganic and organic chemistry have been asked from the NCERT textbooks as such.

BIOLOGY:
Truman's objective biology for NEET
Pradeep's publications biology
GRB Bathla's publications for biology
Objective biology by dinesh

PHYSICS
Concepts of physics by H.C.Verma
D. C Pandey objective physics
Problems in general physics by I. E Irodov
Fundamentals of physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker.

CHEMISTRY
Physical chemistry by O. P Tandon
Organic chemistry by Morrison and Boyd
Concise inorganic chemistry by J. D. Lee
Dinesh's chemistry
Complete NEET guide : chemistry by MTG editorial.

Regardless of the book you follow, also go through the previous years papers to get an idea regarding the kind of questions that have been asked lately. That'll help you to modulate your course of preparation accordingly.
Also, if you have joined some coaching institution, do ask your mentors if referring these books Is worth your time and effort.

Hope this helps!

Hello Sri!

The best books you can refer to are the NCERT,

For biology, refer the following.

1) Trueman's Biology vol 1 and vol 2

2) Dinesh- Objective biology

3) Pradeep publication Biology

4) GRB'S Publication Biology.

For Physics refer to he following books.

1) H.C.Verma - Concepts of Physics.

2) D.C Pandey - Objective Physics.

3) Fundamentals of physics by Walker

4) Problems in Physics by I.E.Irodov

For chemistry you can refer the following books

1) O.P Tandon - Physical Chemistry

2) Morrison and Boyd - Organic Chemistry

3) Modern ABC's of chemistry

4) J.D.Lee Inorganic chemistry

5) Dinesh

Ncerts are mandatory to have, refer the rest of the books and find out which one suits you. I would advice you not to buy all the books but to refer them and see which one is better for you.

In the end it doesn't depend upon which book is better but how good can you understand the concepts

Also, for the general knowledge subscribe magazines, they will be useful.

Hop this helps.

Goodluck!

The standard syllabus for NEET UG exam follows the NCERT books pattern. If you can master all the NCERT books while buliding concepts and solving the questions and MCQs given in the NCERT book, you will do fine.

Refer to old question papers and solve a lot of mcqs.

MAKE SURE YOU CLEAR YOUR DOUBTS FROM YOUR TEACHERS AND FRIENDS.

If you have mastered the NCERT books and the questions given in it. Then you can refer GRB, Arihant or the material provided by your coaching institution.

For physics - GRB or arihant
For biology - GRB or dinesh( I used dinesh so find that better than grb)
