Try to score 530+ to get into a government medical college in your state. However I suggest a score of 550+ will get you a good and repute college. All the best!!

Hi Amogh Deshpande,

If you are a candidate belonging to unreserved category and looking for admission in MBBS in Karnataka , you must aim at 520+ score if applying via State Quota seats.

Furthermore, marks more than 560-580 might be reasonable to get admission in reputed college of the state.

Wish you all the very best

Hello Amogh
Although we can't predict exactly but going by previous years pattern if you score anything above 550+ there will be fair chances of you getting admitted. Put in some extra effort and go for it. Wishing you all the best for exams.

If you belong to Karnataka, I think a score around 530 to 550 should be enough. But if you belong to some other state and aiming for seat in Karnataka through all India quota, then try to score a little more about 550 to 580. (This data is for general category).
All the best.

Around 530 can get u a seat in ur state .
Hey Amogh,

The closing Rank was 4368 (around 520-530 marks) for Mysore Medical College And rank 1835 (around 540-550) for Banglore Medical College
Overall Rank for Government College was 5579 which corresponds to a score of 510-520 approximately.

Based on these trends, you must focus on getting a score above 530+ to ensure enrollment in a good medical college, if you are seeking admission through All India Quota.
However, if you are attempting through 85% State Quota Counselling, try to get a score of 480+

Focus on your Preparations now! All the very Best!
