Hello Shakeeba!

In order to pursue your post-graduate degree in MBA, you can take up any stream of your choice after Class 10th. Even you can do your graduation from Science or Arts stream subjects and get your MBA degree later on.

But from a professional point of view, you can take up commerce stream for your senior secondary classes if you are interested. Then, for a bachelor's degree, you can take BBA course as it is usually given more preference over the other degrees.

The minimum eligibility requirement for pursuing your MBA from top business schools (specifically, IIMs) is that you should have completed your bachelor's degree from any discipline with at least 50% marks in your graduation. And yes, you must have a valid CAT( Common Admission Test) score and some work experience. The rest depends on your knowledge and skills.

Feel free to comment below your doubts (if any).

I hope this answer will help you.

Hello aspirant,

If you wish to go for MBA in future. I'll recommend you to go for Commerce stream in your 10+2 and go for BBA in your bachelor's. Also I'll recommend you to opt for mathematics as an optional subject in your 10+2. This will prepare you for the skills  required at the time of MBA. It'll not only help you in your MBA college but also will help you in your entrance exams to get into MBA. Focus on getting good grades in your 10+2 and graduation as this will also be counted at  the time of mba admission. I'll also recommend you to develop a habit of reading novels and newspaper on regular basis.

Good luck

Hello Shakeeba !

It does not matter that what is your stream in 12th , or after 12th you are a engineering student or a B.SC graduate or anything else , to do MBA , as people from different diverse areas get admission in top B-schools , no matter what their profile was , only you have to maintain a good academic record in whatever field of study you are choosing.

I suggest you to choose the one in which you are interested.

Hope it helps !
