Your rank is a bit low to get into any of the top branches from any of the Amrita Campuses. As you haven't mentioned about the campus you are seeking for, I'll provide you a generalized answer.
To get into top branches such as Computer Science Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering in any of the Amrita Campuses, you should have a rank below 2000 for CSE and a rank below 4000 for ECE if you are an open category candidate. As both of these courses are in high demand, the competition for these branches is very high. If you are a state quota candidate then you should have a rank below 4000 for CSE and a rank below 7000 for ECE. Even to get into Mechanical or Civil Engineering you need to have a rank below 12000.

Now as your rank is 20504, you have no chances to get into any of these branches even with state quota.
You can try for other colleges with the required entrance exams if you have applied for any.
