if you pursue bds from a government dental college then i would say that anyone can have a successful career irrespective of gender but if you pursue dental from a private dental college then that would require heavy investment since the equipment don't come cheap and you most probably will have to set up your own practice and money isnt a issue then dental is an equally rewarding career option
