It is a plant that grows on another plant, especially one that is not parasitic, such as the numerous ferns, bromeliads, air plants, and orchids growing on tree trunks in tropical rainforests.

Small palnts grow on other plants in tropical rainforest.They utilise only the space of host plant for light and humidity.for example- hanging moss and orchid.i hope this information helps you.
