Cut off Means- Qualifying marks to appear in JEE Advanced….

Signficance of cut off-

1.If your marks is just around cut off- there is 90 % +possibility that Advanced is distant dream and so as IIT-I repeat distant dream- not using the word impossible …one can quote many examples but it holds true for 90% students

2. Getting marks around cut off has no connection with NITS also..Because the rank which one will get will not help him to land in NITs-normally-

3. However -It will serve as benchmark to take the call- to drop a year or not

4. Even with less marks students can get colleges directly thru Counselling process of the institute

 

Hello dear
It means that your marks is not more than the cut offs declared by the committee .( Means doesn't secure minimum marks required for the qualifying the paper )
It simply means that the Candidate doesn't qualify jee advanced.
