Dear Muskan, EWS reservation is for General Category candidates whose annual income from all sources is less than 8 lakhs per annum and who do not avail any benefits of OBC,SC,ST. Such candidates are.eligible for EWS Reservation.To avail this reservation, you need to change ypur Category and also have a EWS Certificate. If you havent changed it during the correction window, unfortunately you cannot claim it during the counselling. This is because the final merit list has been prepared according to the various Categories candidates have chosen while filling the application form and during the correction window. Now they are reflected in the ranks alloted to you and you are called for counselling based on those ranks. Now it is impossible to go back and alter the Categories just during the counselling process.
