The highest package that were offered to a computer science and engineering student at Vellore institute of technology was around 75 lacs last year. In previous session highest package offered was 42 lakhs. Also more than 81 students were offered a package of 25 lacs or more. More than 1,000 students got their superdream offers with packages of 10 lakh or more. In addition to this around same number of students got dream offers between 6 to 10 lakh rupees and got placed in IT and core companies.
