Hi Jeevitutu.

There are not many opportunities with mere graduation in India. Thus, you should go with a Master's if you wish to work in core physics domain. It is a bitter truth that even after Master's you do not have many employment options after general science in comparison to other fields in India.

Plan and prepare for IIT - JAM to get into reputed institutes for your master's like IIT's. In addition to physics, you are also eligible to apply for energy sciences.

Some of the areas you could specialize are - Quantum Physics, Astrophysics, Geophysics, Computational physics, Biophysics or Biomedical physics.

Enhance your skills with valuable internships and try for reputed organizations like DRDO and government universities. Follow up your Master's with PhD to work as a researcher and Professor.

Be patient as most science areas require a lot of patience and consistency.

All the best.
