hello
I hope you are doing good.
There are no such criteria that you have to appear for each and every jee mains exam. they select best of all. The highest score will be considered for your final result. so, if you don't appear for any one exam it's perfectly fine. if you are not satisfied from your marks scored in first attempt then you can go for second attempt. otherwise its perfectly fine.
THANK YOU
Use the JEE Main 2026 Rank Predictor to estimate your expected rank based on your scores or percentile and plan your college options smartly.
Hello aspirant
If you don't appear for jee main session 2 and you have already appeared for session 1 then your session 1 marks will be final score and your rank list will be according to that only.
So if you are confident enough that you have scored more than cut off score then you can absent in session 2 and keep preparing for advanced paper. Otherwise if you think you can improve more better than session 1 score then you should attempt second session, anyway best score will be taken as your final score and according to that only your rank will get declared.
You can use our college predictor for knowing which college you will get at your marks, link is below
