Hello,

You need to appear for JEE Main for B.E/B. Tech admissions at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. But to get into NITs merely qualifying it with the minimum marks is not sufficient.

Dear student,
If you just clear the cut off of jee mains then you will be eligible for jee advanced. At this rank you will vet colleges according to your rank. At such percentile you would not be able to get any nit's most probably because the cut off for nits goes a bit high. At this rank you can apply for other colleges that accept jee mains score. If you do not qualify jee advanced then also you will be eligible for admission in nit/iiit/gfti or other colleges that accept jee mains score. Only you will not be eligible for admission in any iit's.
