Hello Jaya!
Looking back at last year's opening and closing ranks, for both All India level and state level, scoring 540 and above is quite safe and wil definitely get you admission into a government medical college.
In order to score 500+ you need to attend minimum 125 questions. But attempting just 125 questions will be very risky as out of the 125 that you will attempt, you will also be making mistakes. Since, negative marking scheme is followed, your marks will drop further. So it is better you attempt atleast 140 to 150 questions, so that even if you are making any mistakes, your marks won't go below 500 after negative marking.
If you can attempt more than 150, then go for it. The more you attempt, the better. But don't attempt haphazardly. Don't attempt questions you are unsure about. Once you cross the minimum limit of 140 questions, answer only questions you are absolutely sure about.
Now, just 3 days before NEET, the best preparation strategy is to go through your BIOLOGY NCERT books, CHEMISTRY NCERT books, revise formulae of PHYSICS and PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY and practise MCQs. Do not be afraid. Have full confidence on yourself.
All the very best for your exams!
