It depends on the grade / level of college from where you are doing your MBA from. Of you are doing MBA from IIMS then your starting salary would be above 20 LPA. If you are doing MBA from reputed college like XLRI, spjain, IIFT then your salary would be 10 LPA.  But you are doing MBA from local college then salary would be 3-5 LPA.

to the profile. There is a lot of factor that work
are listed below

1. Work Experience

2. Caliber of a person

3. Institution where you are

graduated

4. Enthusiasm towards your work

Basically if I give the salary of lowest grade
MBA college it start from 10-12k for fresher
and middle grade one get 30-50k as a fresher
and top IIM's near about 2-3L per month

While a lot of factor that work like your
previous profile and achievements and your
passion

If you are doing MBA from other local college , Your salary would be around 3 to 5 lacs per annum.

I am suggesting this according to reputation of colleges. According to my point of view,Salary of an individual also depends upon his past quality of work. Just holding one degree wont enhance his salary but if he has knowledge, skills and dedication towards the work along with the degree then he will always be paid higher.

It probably depends on the institute if you can get a good score to get admission into IIMS then definitely your average package would be near to 25 lac .
But if you cant get enough score to fetch a good score then some of my friends are still working in a salary of 40k per month after Pursuing MBA .
MBA is only worthy if you pursue it from good colleges .
