MbA entrance exam makes you eligible to get admission into management Institute of india and all iims. Whereas by giving banking exams you can get into different banks at various posts. Since you have already mentioned that you don't have good financial condition then I'll recommend you to go for banking exams instead of cat  because there are only 2-3 colleges under cat which has low fees structure and good placement. Most of the colleges have a fees in the range of 10-25 lakhs. However opting for banking will not require an investment of more than 50k, but of course a lot of hardwork is needed.
