Both the courses are good and have different values and scope. You should choose the course as per your interest & career goal.

Biotechnology is a research oriented science, a combination of Biology and Technology. It covers a wide variety of subjects like Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Virology, Chemistry and Engineering. You can find the job in the industry like Pharmaceuticals Industry, Healthcare sector, Chemical Industry and Research sector.

Microbiology overlaps the various other degree areas of biology like as molecular biology, genetics & immunology. After completing the programme you can get opportunities in various fields like healthcare organizations, forensic science laboratories, environmental organizations, higher education institutions, food and drink.

To get the success in your career only graduation is not enoungh, I would suggest you to go for the higher programme.

Good Luck!
