Hello aspirant,

Because microbiology is a subset of biotechnology and has a bright future, I believe choosing to major in biotechnology is a better choice than choosing microbiology. Biotechnology has a lot of potential not just for academic pursuits but also for employment and revenue. In contrast to microbiology, there are numerous strategies to succeed in biotechnology. So in my opinion you can opt for biotechnology course.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

Hey aspirant,

B.Sc Biotechnology and B.Sc Microbiology both courses are good. But to be more specific B.Sc Biotechnology has more career opportunities than B.Sc Microbiology. In fact, in B.Sc Biotechnology, the topics related to Microbiology are covered. B.Sc Biotechnology focuses on Industrial area, management etc. Where as, B. Sc Microbiology is precised, confined and case study oriented. So you can go for B.Sc Biotechnology course if you are interested in it and want more job opportunities. Hope this helps all the best!
