I am very glad to say about Honours degree. Honours degree had different meanings in the context of different degrees. B. Sc(Hons) indicates one has completed Honors degree Bachelor of science undergraduate  program. An ordinary Bachelor of science accepts grades on a pass /no pass based. In contrast a honors designation requires that students demonstrate superior academic performance.

Many universities and colleges offer both honor and non-honor courses. In most of the countries honors degree are referred, they imply higher level of achievements than a non -honor course. Mostly for honor graduates minimum GPA is enough for higher studies.
