Dear aspirant,

VIT admission happens in phases and phase 1 is for the people who have score the top 20k rank. The people who appear for counselling in this phase are given more preference and have a higher possibility of getting their branch of interest in the campus. The fees also keep increasing as you go from phase 1 to phase 2 and so on. So, this is a system to give seats to meritorious students in VITEEE.
