Hello,

Bachelor's is Architecture (B.arch) is 5 years engineering course. For applying for the course one must have passed their 10+2 examination or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects. or should have passed 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/state governments with 50 per cent aggregate marks.

While Diploma in Architecture is 3 year long course for which a candidate can purse after 10th boards.

I hope this helps.

Hello,

A Engineering course is much broader than a diploma course, although personally, I think even a bachelor is not broad enough to bring in all the aspects of architecture as a design as well as a profession. Architecture needs to be taught sooner and for longer, in my opinion. A bachelor includes many elective subjects throughout its course, through which non-mainstream combinations with architecture such as arch+journalism, arch+photography, climatology, etc. are touched upon.

Hope this helps
