What is economically weak general category reservation effective from neet 2019 exams.

Hi

Economically weak section 10 % reservation quota is for all unreserved categories. So 10 % of the seats from general category will be reserved for candidates. The reservation applies for both central jobs and education

Eligibility to avail this reservation

1. Should be from general category.

2. Annual family income should be less than 8 lacks.

3. Should posses less than 5 acres of agricultural land.

If you fullfill all the above criteria you are eligible for reservation.

Yes, it will implemented in NEET 2019 exams, infact most of the central governement colleges have already implemented it like IITS, Delhi university etc.

Additational seats will be added from next year onwards to accomodate this 10 % students.
