securing admission in any NIT's by answering JEE Mains requires a good score 80 -90 percentile. candidates must also placed in the top 15000 - 20000 ranks to get admission into the institution.
securing admission in IIITs by answering JEE Mains requires a good score 70-80 percentile. candidates must also placed in the 25000 rank to get seat.

The good score in JEE mains make you eligible to advanced exam.250+ in JEE mains is good.
In previous the cuttoff for general category is 90.
SC- 50, ST- 39,OBC- 72. You have to score atleast 200-210. To get admission in top NITs your percentile would be around 85-95. To get into IITs 85-90. Percentile. To get admission in top engineering colleges your score would be above 80 percentile.
