Hello Aspirant

The cut off lists for the courses available in Delhi university has not come out yet. We can provide you with a rough estimate of the cut offs.

BA in Pscyhology falls under the department of Psychology (Humanities and Social Sciences). Delhi University is particularly famous for its humanities and social sciences courses and thus a huge number of applications are submitted everywhere. Most of the colleges within the university follow the merit of a student (based on the cut-off lists).

To make the understanding of the cut off easy, I have divided the colleges among 3 categories.

TIER 1 Colleges

· Lady Shree Ram College

· Gargi College

· Jesus and Marys College

· IP College for Women

Approximate Cut off Percentage: 96–97%

TIER 2 Colleges

· Kamla Nehru College

· Keshav Mahavidyalaya

· Daulat Ram College

· Zakir Hussain College

Approximate Cut off Percentage: 94–95%

TIER 3 Colleges

· Vivekananda College

· Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College

· BR Ambedkar

· Mata Sundari

· Aryabhatta College

Approximate Cut off Percentage: 91–93%

As you can see, the percentage required is quite high for the University of Delhi. Also, most of the colleges in the tier 3 category do not have good extra-curricular activities.

Most of the colleges allow all the +2 students to apply for the course whereas some might prefer that you are from a humanities background and some might have an entrance test.

Few Other colleges could be :

· Ambedkar University, New Delhi

· Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi

· Christ University, Bangalore

· Sophia College for Women

· Jai Hind College

I hope that my answer helps you.

Best of luck!

Hi, the cutoffs for ba Psychology differs from college to college. Some colleges take I'm admissions directly on the basis of merit of the qualifying exam that is 12th boards while some colleges require you to appear for entrance exams and take I'm admissions based on your performance on the entrance test and sometimes personal interview as well.

In order to pursue B.A in psychology you can be from any of the three streams(science, arts or commerce) and you should have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% -55% marks with Psychology being one of the subjects in +2.

Good luck
