Open states in AIQ are those where we can apply for private medical and dental Colleges through their State counselling without the domicile also.
There are 13 open states: Karnataka, Kerala,West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh,Bihar,Assam,Tripura,Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan/Haryana.
Dear student, under all India counselling for Neet, the open seats are meant for the students of unreserved category. These seats can be secured by students of any state participating in the counselling procedure, provided that they do not belong to other categories like SC, ST or PWD.
